Digital Painting of Ellen Page I did recently. I don’t normally do portrait art, or I HARDLY do portraits, I don’t know why. Maybe its a patience thing, but I guess I should do 1 per week, I guess it will help to develop visual measurement :3
Finally got net here in India, gonna upload this commission I did a while back. This week’s gonna be hectic with work to do..
Travelling in India, calming my gears down. I have an entry test, some concept art, manga page, poster and another comic page to do. Hopefully all that finishes this week.
One of the best audio books I as an artist have ever heard.
Bobby Chiu talks in-depth about how to go about achieving and realizing your goals, and how to do that with grace.
I cannot properly explain how awesome it is, so click on the picture for more info.
Yay !!, one of my concept art pieces got featured on a concept art blog that shows Mr.StickmanSalesman visiting different places in the universe :P
So I finally finished reading this book. I’m not much of a reader but I’m trying to get into it, and what better way for me to get into it by reading on one of my heroes.
How to think like STEVE JOBS is pretty much what the title says, giving bits and pieces of his life and how he went about doing stuff.
It was a good read and gave me some good insight on how he tackled some problems, which perhaps I could use for myself.
Another female character for the week. The more I do it, the more I learn and understand skin and lights.
I’m trying to tie down a style though and not have it all around the place.
Getting progressively better I guess. Thinking of making this a digital painting…..
I working on a Miss Fortune fan art for now, will do this after THAT is done.
My faces for quite some time now have always come out super anime like, these pictures are me trying out new things, in the metro. Nothing like a combination of your iPod and a sketchbook.
I’ll be trying new styles and posting some studies. I’m still trying to beat down the facial expressions and construction through my subconscious mind.
Practice makes perfect I guess :)
